The treatment is usually painless and should improve your symptoms very quickly. Whilst some GPs may still offer these services; many don’t. So, paying for private treatment may be an option for you.
This treatment is usually quick, gentle, and painless allowing you to resume your day with clear hearing and greater comfort. The cost of the ear wax service at Bacup Pharmacy is £60 for both ears. During your visit we will also check for any signs of infection in your ears.
We often get referrals from our hardworking GPs onto our pharmacist for advice and treatment. So, you may wish to save yourself a trip to the GP and come straight to the pharmacy for advice and treatment.
If we cannot remove all the impacted Ear wax in your initial visit, then our specialist will re-book another appointment for you after another 7 days. In these scenarios we will remove any wax in your ears on your initial visit and the remainder on your return. Rest assured; you do NOT need to pay again.
